Have you ever read a book that made you feel like the character inside? I have.

Easy by Tammara Webber is one of the most intriguing novels I have ever read. I managed to finish it the day after I brought it. I didn't want to go to my lectures at university just so I could finish it. I'm not sure how Webber managed to make me feel so part of the book the way she did, I either thought I was Jacqueline or I wished to be her (minus a few events).

"I took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly before turning around. It was Lucas who stood there. His gaze was penetrating, not wavering for a moment, and my pulse hammered under his silent scrutiny.

I couldn't remember the last time I'd been so full of pure, unqualified desire."

This quote situated on the back of the book completely drew me in and I had to buy it. I stood in the book shop with my mum searching and scanning for a book that I would enjoy. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the book I was searching for. I missed reading, being at university distracted me from reading and I finally found the time to drag myself into my own little world once more.

The book Easy is a romantic novel based on a student named Jacqueline. After her boyfriend of three years decides to leave her so he can be a typical university student and sleep with whoever he wants, a horrific event unfolds and leads Jacqueline (not Jackie) to meet Lucas. Lucas seems like an  outsider. He is a mysterious inked boy with a dark past. After the event unfolded at a Halloween party where Jacqueline is saved by Lucas, he appears to be everywhere and his past slowly unfolds through lies and secrets ('Will the secrets he's hiding come between them?').

It is a story that you will not want to put down from the first page. I know most people who love a book say that, but I really mean it. Webber doesn't mess around getting into the story and setting the scene (the parts that completely bore me) she almost instantly starts with excitement and anticipation from the very first page. An excellent read.

I want my own inked mysterious boy like Lucas.
